Back 9 Waters Warranty Information

Warranty Coverage

​

Back 9 Waters, LLC will honor any manufacturer defect in parts, tanks or installation materials used when the product has been installed and operated according to manufacturer’s recommendations, local building and plumbing codes, within the state of Arizona.  Installation must be completed by a licensed plumber, in said state. Warranty coverage only extends to original installation site.  Warranty will terminate if any of said conditions are not followed at the sole discretion of Back 9 Waters.

Catalytic Carbon Filter Tanks (1054, 1252, 1465)– Lifetime Warranty

Conditioning Tanks (1054, 1252, 1465) – Lifetime Warranty

In & Out Valve Head – Lifetime Warranty

Salt Softening Tank (1054, 1252, 1465) – 15 Year Warranty

Brine Tank – 15 Year Warranty

Backwashing Valve Head – 15 Year Warranty

Reverse Osmosis Unit – 3 Year Warranty

DI Tanks (1054, 1252, 1465) - Lifetime Warranty

Whole House Reverse Osmosis- Limited warranty built per customer stated on Invoice

 

During the Coverage Period

Back 9 Waters, LLC will repair or replace parts and/or tanks during the coverage period, as shown above, for any component that is determined to be defective.  Replacement and/or repair may only be authorized and completed by Back 9 Waters and its authorized affiliates, at its sole discretion.  If it is determined that a part is defective, Back 9 Waters will be responsible for the replacement cost of the part or component, however a standard service visit fee will be the responsibility of owner.  If the part or component is no longer offered or available, Back 9 Waters will select a comparable product for replacement. Warranty coverage will be denied if damage is due to improper use or operation.

 

Not Covered Under Warranty

Warranty does not cover equipment failures or operating malfunction related to the following:

  • Tampering or attempting to unscrew covering of the valve head

  • Water pressure at or exceeding 85 PSI

  • Water temperature exceeding 110 degrees F and 32 degrees F or below.  In areas where freezing temperatures are possible, insulation is required and responsibility of owner

  • Valve head programming has been altered without approval of Back 9 Waters.

  • Damage, accident, abuse or misuse

  • Improper maintenance (ie. Unreliable power source, inaccurate salt usage and/or amount, etc)

  • Water source other than city provided, treated water (unless purchased a whole house R.O. WELL WATER)

  • Component failure as a result of Mother Nature or natural disaster

  • Component failure as a result of fire, freezing, violence, abuse or a water source surge or drought

  • Any equipment without serial numbers or proper product labeling

 

Limitations

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness.  

 

Owner is solely responsible for all required filter changes (ie. RO cartridges) and maintenance.  Insulation of tanks and piping in areas that experience temperatures at freezing or below.  For optimum performance all components should be replaced based on warranty recommendation.
